FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the Lightweight and All-Season version?

It comes down to how warm you like to sleep. The Lightweight duvet is gently filled, making it ideal for warmer months or for those who naturally sleep hot. The All-Season version has a higher down fill, offering more loft and cozy warmth—perfect for year-round comfort or cooler bedrooms.

What makes this duvet insert different from a typical comforter?

This is 5 star hotel-quality comfort, at home. Our duvet insert is filled with 100% white down with an impressive 800 fill power, wrapped in a breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified 100% cotton shell with a smooth 600 thread count. The result is exceptional softness, beautiful loft, and warmth without heaviness—something synthetic comforters simply can’t replicate.

Is the down ethically sourced?

Yes—without compromise. All of our down is responsibly sourced and RDS-certified, ensuring it meets strict standards for animal welfare and ethical practices.

Will this stay in place inside a duvet cover?

Yes, it’s thoughtfully designed for a secure fit. Built-in corner loops allow you to secure the insert to your duvet cover, helping prevent shifting or bunching while you sleep.

How do I care for the duvet to keep it in excellent condition?

Proper care keeps it luxurious for years. Because this duvet is filled with premium down, we recommend professional dry cleaning only. Always use a duvet cover to protect it, fluff it regularly to maintain loft, and store it in a breathable cotton bag when not in use—never plastic, and never tightly compressed.

Will the filling shift or develop cold spots over time?

No—its baffle box construction prevents that. The baffle-box design keeps the down evenly distributed throughout the duvet, so warmth stays consistent and the comfort remains beautifully balanced night after night.
