This topper uses two different fills for a reason. The top layer is filled with white down with a 650 fill power, giving you that soft, fluffy comfort right where you sleep. The bottom is filled with feathers, which provide additional structure and cushioning underneath the down layer.
Why is the down only on the top?
The down is placed on top so you can enjoy the soft, plush feel of down where it matters most—right between you and your mattress. Underneath, the feather fill provides structure and cushioning. Together, the two layers create a really comfortable combination.
What is the top fabric made from?
The top fabric is made from 230-thread-count 100% cotton cambric. Cotton cambric is a smooth, tightly woven cotton fabric that makes a comfortable shell for down bedding. It gives the top of the topper a soft, quality feel while helping contain the fill.
What is baffle-box construction?
Baffle-box construction divides the top portion of the topper into individual sections. These sections help keep the white down distributed throughout the topper instead of allowing it to all move into one area. This helps create a more consistent, fluffy feel across the sleeping surface.
What is channel construction?
The bottom portion of the topper uses channel construction, which creates long sections for the feather fill. This helps organize the feathers and gives the lower part of the topper its structure while complementing the softer down-filled top.
